DO I HAVE TO STAY AT EXCELLENCE RESORT?
Because the resort is highly secured, those who do not have room reservations are not allowed on the premises.
WHAT DOES ALL-INCLUSIVE MEAN?
All meals, snacks, and drinks (including alcohol), are included and unlimited! There are 12 restaurants, several bars, lounges, and 24-hour room service. There's also plenty of daily activities and nightly entertainment at no extra charge! ARE CHILDREN WELCOME TO THE WEDDING?
While we love your little ones, the resort is an adults-only resort so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening and long weekend. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so that you can celebrate with us.
CAN I BRING A GUEST?
Your wedding invite will indicate if you can bring a guest. Please refer to your invitation for details. If applicable, be sure to list your guest on the RSVP.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ROOMS?
There are 2 different suite levels: Excellence suites and Excellence Club suites.
Rooms with the word “club” are suites with these special benefits and perks:

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AND DEPART?
You're welcome to stay as long as you would like but please note that the resort requires a 3 night minimum stay.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE BEFORE CHECK-IN TIME?
You can use all the amenities which include pools, restaurants, and activities. Pack a small bag with swimwear and other necessities to utilize at the resort while you wait for your room to be ready. The lobby will hold your luggage for you.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY ROOM?
ASAP! There is no room block in place and rooms are expected to sell out as it gets closer to the wedding day. If you are not able to secure a room at the resort, you will not be able to attend the wedding as the resort requires all guests to stay on site.
Booking now will also allow you to choose from a large range of room types. Swim up suites and club room suites are some of the room types that sell out first.
Booking with our promocode, your room reservation is 100% refundable up until 24 hours before your arrival and only $1 is required to reserve and secure your room now.
LAST DAY TO BOOK?
The last day to book with the discounted rate or make any modifications to your reservation is September 10, 2025. Any modifications after September 10, 2025 will cancel your current reservation and it will automatically be rebooked at the current resort rates, which will be much higher as the wedding date approaches.
Also, make sure your card on file has not expired as your card on file will be charged ~30 days before your arrival. Your reservation will be canceled if your payment is declined due to your card on file being expired or if your bank blocks the payment if they detect it as fraud.
WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED?
By booking with our promocode, you will only be charged a $1 deposit at the time of booking. The balance will be charged in full to your card on file 30 days before your arrival.
CAN I BOOK THE NON-REFUNDABLE OPTION?
Yes you can, but be advised that (1) you will be charged the full amount at the time of booking, (2) you will not be able to modify your reservation at all once you book and (3) you will not receive any money back if you need to cancel for any reason.
We are asking all of our guests to use our promocode LVWNOV25XRC and book the GROUPS RATE option because it only requires $1 deposit to book, it will include free cancellation up until 24 hours from arrival and free transportation to/from the airport. We would hate for you to lose any money if you have to cancel your stay.
MODIFYING RESERVATION?
You are not able to modify your reservation online. You will have to call the Call Center for any changes. The number to call is 1-866-211-6223.

DO I HAVE TO RSVP?
Yes, an RSVP is required and appreciated for everyone. It is essential in planning for the wedding seating, meals, and beverages. In order for us to be able to accommodate you; you MUST RSVP prior to the deadline of August 1, 2025. We appreciate your understanding with this!
HOW DO I RSVP?
To RSVP locate the 'RSVP' tab on this site and follow the steps. Please include any guest that will be attending any of the wedding events. Please include any dietary restrictions you may have.
WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Let us know of any dietary restrictions through the RSVP form. We want to make sure you're taken care of!
During check-in, the resort will ask if you have any dietary restrictions as well and tie this information to your room number. This is to make sure you have a comfortable stay!
IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?
The dress code for our wedding is beach cocktail. No shorts, hats or jeans, please.
WHAT IS THE RESORT DRESS CODE?
All restaurants at Excellence require a certain dress code. Please visit the resort website or click HERE to see the different type of dress code required at each restaurant.
In short, men must wear shirts with sleeves or collars at every restaurant. Some restaurants require pants for men. Some restaurants do now allow casual sandals for either men nor women. Please pack accordingly to be able to enjoy every restaurant on the property.
WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
Your outfit for the wedding, your outfit for the welcome event, swimwear, sunscreen, bug spray, medicine, etc.
Although the resort is all-inclusive, we recommend to bring $1 & $5 USD bills to tip the staff you believe is doing an outstanding job. Tips are never expected but certainly appreciated.
IS AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?
Yes! By booking directly with Excellence, private transportation in a luxury SUV will be provided by Seasons Tours. Soon after booking your room, you will receive further instructions on how to schedule your complimentary airport transfer. This includes arrival and departure transfers.

ANY OFFSITE EXCURSIONS?
There are so many activities at the resort that are already included with your stay but if you wish to explore Cancun or the surrounding areas, please visit the THINGS TO DO tab at the top of our website to see popular excursions.
IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR THE SPA?
Yes, the same promo code you used to book your reservation gets you 10% off but you are also more than welcome to check their monthly Spa offer on the Excellence website right before your trip as many times they offer bigger discounts.
WILL THE CEREMONY BE UNPLUGGED?
YES! We ask that you please put your devices away for the ceremony as it will be professionally captured. Please remain "in the moment" with us. After the ceremony please take as many pictures as you want!
